Are Monster Wheels and Nitto Terra Grappler tires Patriotic?
8th Jun 2017
Driving a pickup truck with Monster wheels, Nitto Terra Grappler tires, a gun rack and mudflaps with the sexy chrome mudflap girl does not make you a redneck, it just means you are very patriotic.
Some might ask how, in any way, is this patriotic. It’s simple; all you have to do is take a closer look and extrapolate everything that is patriotic.
For example, and this is quite obvious, pickup trucks are patriotic. Well, Toyota Tacomas, not so much, but any American made truck is patriotic with Chevy, Ford and Dodge trucks getting extra points because they are ultra-patriotic, a step above patriotic that is. Just saying.
Monster Energy wheels are patriotic, as are Nitto Terra Grappler tires, hugely patriotic. In fact, truck wheels, in general, are patriotic including Fuel wheels, American Racing wheels and Center Line wheels.
Having a gun rack in your truck is patriotic, having a gun rack in your truck and mudflaps adorned with the sexy chrome mudflap girl is almost too patriotic. Wait a minute, there is no such thing as being too patriotic.
Anyway, our point is that it's summer and Independence Day is right around the corner. And while we are sure you will be celebrating by throwing a great barbecue, shooting off illegal fireworks and drinking too much beer, we hope you fully understand the real meaning of the holiday. And if not, we hope you can at least celebrate Independence Day by being patriotic.
If you think that owning a pickup truck with sexy chrome mudflap girls is patriotic enough, you are sadly mistaken. Here are a few ways in which you can be patriotic on Independence Day.
Learn Our History
You probably were taught all about our history in school, how much of that information you retained is a mystery.
The story of our founding is captivating, inspiring and simply brilliant. If it wasn't they wouldn’t make you learn about it in school. We aren’t suggesting you head back to school to learn about our history, you don't even have to read a book as there are any number of movies you can watch to get the gist of the action, adventure and romance that is our American history.
Be Active in Your Community
Show your patriotism by shopping locally, not ignoring city or county elections and helping out in the community. There are any number of ways in which you can volunteer your time.
For example, you could be a dog walker for your local animal shelter or you could read to the elderly. You could also take advantage of the fact you own a truck and drive around loading up donations for the Salvation Army or Goodwill.
Visit the Nation’s Capital
Packing up your truck and driving to Washington, DC for some sightseeing can be considered patriotic. It’s also a great opportunity to teach your children the importance of being patriotic.
If you happen to be in the nation’s capital on Independence Day, you will be treated to a big parade fearing bands, floats and fireworks after. And just so you know, parades are patriotic as well.
If visiting Washington DC is not possible, there are plenty of other places in the country that are patriotic, like Philadelphia and Boston for example. Driving through Texas on Independence Day is very patriotic. Yes indeedy.
Go to a Baseball Game
Going to a baseball game is patriotic; going to a baseball game and eating a hot dog is patriotic as well. Eating a hot dog while watching women’s softball on television might also be considered patriotic.
Basically, anything involving hot dogs and balls is patriotic.
If you don't live in a city that supports a Major League baseball team, check to see if there is a minor league game you can attend. They are just as fun to watch and it is likely they will end the game with fireworks or some other celebration.
Host an Epic Barbecue
You were planning on having a barbecue on Independence Day anyway, so you might as well crank the volume to 11 and make it an epic barbecue and invite the whole neighborhood.
Now, your barbecue isn't patriotic unless you serve the proper foods. Hamburgers, steak, chicken and lobster are all patriotic foods as are beans, corn-on-the-cob and watermelon. Lasagna, french fries and sesame tofu are examples of foods that are good, but not very patriotic.
Any food you can dump barbecue sauce on is considered patriotic.
Watch a Movie
There are any number of movies you can watch that are patriotic in nature. A good war movie is entertaining, thought-provoking and patriotic, examples include Born on the Fourth of July, Platoon and Red Dawn.
Any movie starring Clint Eastwood is patriotic except Any Which Way But Loose; that movie is far from patriotic, it’s not even very good.
Movies that portray life in the United States can be patriotic. For example, there are several John Hughes movies that are patriotic including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Weird Science and The Breakfast Club.
And while some might think movies starring John Cusack are patriotic, not so much. Well, except Eight Men Out because that is a baseball movie.
Go to the Mall
Shopping at the local mall is patriotic, but it's something you need to do rather soon as they are disappearing at an alarming rate.
For comparison: Shopping at the mall and eating at Cinnabon is patriotic, shopping at Ikea and eating meatballs is not.
As you can see, there are any number of ways in which you can be patriotic this Independence Day.
