Don’t Forget to Swap Out Those Stock Truck Wheels With a Set of Fuel Rims

Life is one long journey, and it is full of all kinds of sacrifices. For most of us, in order to make ends meet, we often forgo our dreamy desires to ensure we can put food on the table and pay the electric bill. That being said, when it comes to buying a new truck, you should be cost-conscious, but not downright cheap. Here are a few reasons you should never buy a base model truck.
Being cheap is not a virtue, no matter how many coupons you clip every weekend. One thing you want to avoid is kicking aside dollars in order to chase pennies. That is, saving a penny here or a penny there may come back to cost you dearly in the long run. Take for example buying a base truck, which is a truck with the absolute minimum specs that the manufacturer could legally get away with. This is a very sad game to play. You buy a base truck and the first time your friend settles in the passenger seat he yells, “Really, Power windows aren’t standard?”
Sure, you got your truck for under $30,000 out the door, but your truck also has all the charm of your last girlfriend. And you still have to pull your truck over to answer a cell phone call.
You spend a great deal of time in your bed. Sleeping, of course. Which is why you go all out when buying a new mattress. That is, you pay a little more to get something better than the basement bargains. You do this because nobody ever says, “I wish this bed was a little less comfortable, I could have used that extra money for something else.”
Lastly, driving around in a truck that is full of dummy switches will not help your self-esteem. For those who are not aware, a dummy switch is simply a dummy button that could have housed something really cool. But you were too cheap to discover it.
So do yourself a favor and sink a little money into the purchase of your new truck and get the added perks you desire. And don’t forget to swap out those stock truck wheels with a set of Fuel rims.
