Fuel Truck Wheels and Life Reevaluation
13th Jun 2017
There are certain points in your life when you need to stop and reevaluate your current living situation. For example, when you got your first real job, you dumped the Ford Pinto and bought a nice truck. You celebrated the best raise of your career by buying a better truck and fitting it with a real nice set of Fuel truck wheels.
Recently, your youngest graduated high school and headed off to college. You and the missus are not officially “empty nesters.” This is a good time to stop and evaluate where you are in life and what you want to change.
There is no need to buy a new truck, the one you own is very nice and it has a great set of Fuel wheels. But the both of you have had this urge to get out of the house more often, to go places and do things. You and the wife want to travel a bit and see all of what this beautiful country has to offer.
But you don't want to fly.
We here you, flying is expensive and overrated, plus you have to pick and choose what to bring because you can’t bring everything you want on a flight. This is why you need to buy an RV trailer or a truck camper. It all makes perfect sense.
In an RV or camper, you can travel at will and enjoy the great outdoors with far more creature comforts than if you were to travel by air and stay in cheap hotels. It’s a heck of a lot less expensive as well. But if you are on the fence as to going through with such a deal, here are a few reasons that may sway you.
Feel At Home
RVs are equipped with all of the facilities that make a comfortable living. You have a place to eat, a place to sit a place to go to the bathroom and a place to eat, all enclosed in a cozy shell. And unlike a hotel room, you don't need to worry about checking for bedbugs or wonder who was walking through the carpet with stinky feet before you.
Wherever you happen to be, you can make dinner, mix a cocktail and settle in for a good movie.
The Great Outdoors
Research shows, again and again, all of the physical and mental benefits of spending time doing things outdoors. Heck, almost anything you do outside is considered healthy. Pull that RV up to a camping site and go on a long hike, enjoying the scenery and fresh air. It sure beats sitting on a plane waiting for takeoff while suffering anxiety and listening to a baby cry the whole time.
If hiking isn't your cup of tea, that’s fine because the great outdoors offers so much more. Instead of hiking, you can go fishing or rafting or you could play some golf or a game of tennis. If this sounds too exhausting, you and the spouse could simply go on a picnic.
Convenient Travel
You can pack a whole lot more stuff in your RV than in the suitcases you bring on the place. This means you are prepared for just about anything that comes up. You can pack your skis, your rollerblades, your golf clubs and whatever else you think you might use while on your outdoor adventure.
You are also able to pack all the clothes you want as well. This means there isn't anything stopping you from packing your formal suit just in case you get an invite to a very formal event.
And if you don't, put the suit on anyway and take the wife to an expensive restaurant.
Far and Away or Just Down the Way
With a trailer RV, you can take a cross-country odyssey or a short trip to the next county. An RV enables you to go see that outdoor rock concert festival in the neighboring county without having to rough it or get an expensive hotel room. You also have the option of taking a long cruise to Alaska where you have always dreamed about fishing the great rivers.
Bonding
The trips you and the spouse take in your RV are the perfect opportunities for bonding. Things have been a little uptight between the two of you lately, with stresses at work and other hectic situations in your lives, but a relaxing trip in the RV gives you a way to unwind.
Take the RV to a scenic place, make her a little dinner and see where things go from there. Don't forget to bring a nice bottle of wine.
Visit Junior More Often
Junior is off to college and now you two have the whole house to yourselves. But you soon discover that it can get a little lonely. Not a problem, just pack up the RV and pay Junior a visit when you feel the need to reconnect. He will appreciate it.
Broaden Your Horizons
When you have the freedom to travel wherever you want, whenever you want, you look for excuses to take a trip. This opens up the world to you, gives you a good reason to try something new or go to a place you thought you had no interest in going.
Just imagine what you will see and experience if you get a trailer RV to haul around the states.
