Start slowly, wearing your new attire only after work and on the weekends when you are not going to be seen in public. Like when you are mowing the backyard for example.

In fact, it might be a good idea to never leave your home or truck wearing your new rock star clothes. Just to be safe.

It’s All About the Shades

No self-respecting rock star would ever be seen in public without a cool pair of shades. You could pick out a pair of Ray-Bans, they have an old-school appeal.

You could also go full Bono and wear something bright yellow that wraps around your face.

We already told you to skip the leather jeans, but having a leather jacket is a must. But keep in mind that real rock stars wear real leather. There is nothing here to debate.

Cop an Attitude

A true rock star will maintain their status as a diva. We aren’t talking Mariah Carrey level diva, a little more low key is fine. After all, you don't want to come across as too demanding, your kids won't appreciate that.

Above all, you need to remain cool under any circumstance and unimpressed by anyone you meet. You don’t even break a smile should Alice Cooper himself ask for your autograph.
