Fuel Wheels and Ugly Trucks
12th Apr 2018
In our last post, we spent a little time discussing National Ugly Truck Day. It was all in good fun. We quipped about how bad some trucks look and how the owners should celebrate and embrace National Ugly Truck Day.
But it seems that we have offended a group of people and we are truly sorry and apologize for our ignorance.
You see, it has come to our attention that there are many owners of ugly truck who are ashamed of how their trucks look and were angry because we put them on center stage.
Our intention was to never mock anybody who owns an ugly truck. Sure, we might poke fun at them a bit, but all in good fun to be sure.
As a gesture of goodwill, we have decided to offer these tips on ways in which you can spiff up your ugly truck, things you can do to give it a better look.
Truck Wheels
Many of you really have no idea how much difference a set of snazzy truck wheels will make in how your truck looks. New truck wheels from BB Wheels from manufacturers like Fuel Wheels, V Rock Wheels and Level 8 Wheels make all the difference in the world.
New wheels can make a good-looking truck look great and a really ugly truck look good. So that is a good start.
Light Bars
For those who want to turn night into day, get your truck a sweet light bar or two or three. Lights can also be added to the grill, above the cab and even on the back bumper. If the lights don't make your truck look any better, you can at least blind people with brightness so they can’t see.
Side Rails
Side rails are usually tubular, made from aluminum and provide a step up into your truck. And they look a heck of a lot better than the stock ones you see on trucks. They make quite a difference in the way your truck looks.
Front Grill
The front grill is where you can make one of the biggest statements about your truck. If your grill is broken or just blah, consider purchasing an aftermarket grill for your truck. The difference will be very noticeable.
Mudflaps
Mudflaps will add a touch of class to your truck, especially if they have the silhouetted naked lady plastered on them. But more importantly, mudflaps will keep your truck clean, which is important if you are trying to keep it looking better.
Lift Kit
A truck with some serious ground clearance is quite desirable and your truck will look better if you have this done.
Paint Job
There is just no way around it. If you have a truck that is ugly, it may remain that way until it gets a fresh coat of paint. You could just give your truck a good wash and slap some flame stickers on it, but that only helps so much.
