That’s really a tough question when you stop and think about it. Does it start with what a real man wears? How about what he drives?

If those are the questions you are asking, you probably are pretty clueless as to the qualities that make a real man. The type of vehicle a man drives doesn’t necessarily reflect his qualities as a real man, but the wheels he has on his vehicle certainly do.

In determining qualities of a real man, you should think about our culture’s definition. To do this, you can look to movies, books, magazines and listen to music. What will you find? Well, that a real man hides his emotions, acts tough in just about every situation and has money he can blow on silly trinkets.

This sounds like our culture is feeding us lies. This is a gross misrepresentation of what makes a real man.

The problem is that our culture is always changing, what was admired in men many years ago is now seen as unacceptable. But all too many of us haven’t updated our perceptions of what makes a real man. We are too busy looking cool and buying stuff to take note.

The cultural picture of what makes a real man is a facade, all smoke and mirrors. What we need to do is cut through the cultural stigmas and charades and expose something grounded in truth. We need to expose what it is to be a real man and divorce this cultural nonsense.

A real man would never bad mouth or trash talk other people. You see, a real man realizes there is no value in tearing others down. After all, people are really not much different from him.

Ask the first woman you see what she looks for most in a man. Her answer will almost always be a man with a great sense of humor.

A real man can see humor in just about everything. There is just something so charming and magnetic about a man who can make a woman laugh in just about any situation.

A Real Man has a Profound Sense of Purpose

A real man aligns a higher purpose in every one of his actions. That is, everything he does, he does with a purpose. The way he spends his money, the food he eats and the career he has chosen is based on his loves, his desires and his passions.

A Real Man is Patient

A real man shows great patience and does not get upset at every little thing. He has the clarity of mind and enough self-control to be level headed in most any situation. He does not react angrily or retreats into his head when a problem arises.
