Some People Refuse to Take Their Trucks on the Trail Because They Fear Dirty Fuel Wheels

Posted by Bobby Shell on 8th Jul 2016

There are numerous pickup truck owners out there who patiently wade through the mundane work week until they can unleash their inhibitions over the weekend. Many of these truck owners head to the hills to do a little off-roading, trail driving if you will. It is a sport enjoyed by both men and women as studies suggest up to 25 percent of male truck owners go off-roading while about 10 percent of women truck owners enjoy the sport.

Now, there is a certain percentage of truck owners who don’t participate in this activity for any number of reasons. One reason a truck owner might not want to take his/her truck on a trail is because he/she doesn't want to get his/her Fuel Wheels dirty. We can relate to this, but just remember that your Fuel Wheels are designed for action and will clean up rather nicely. Another reason many truck owners avoid the dusty, muddy, bumpy trails is they feel it is a dangerous quest.

Well, let’s break this down.

Instead of taking your truck on the trail, you could spend your Saturday afternoon jumping on the trampoline with your kids. But you might like to know that there are about 100,000 trampoline accidents per year, many involving broken bones, concussions and dislocated appendages. Heck, we know several people who would rather dislocate an appendage speeding through a mountain trail than taking a spill off a trampoline, it just makes for a better story come Monday morning.

You might think spending your weekend riding your bike is a great way to get that much-needed exercise and you would be right. Except, according to a recent study the number of bike accidents has been increasing over the years. Now, we don’t want to dissuade you from enjoying a bike ride, we just want to point out that it can be a dangerous activity, so you might want to go four-wheeling instead.

Perhaps you enjoy a nice drive to the mountains and a walk instead of going four-wheeling. Sounds fun, what did you pack in your picnic basket? Just so you know, about 50 people die every year right here in the United States from bee stings. Yup, that picnic can kill you.

So, when you take all of this into consideration, it probably isn’t a bad idea to take the truck to the trails this weekend.
