We Came So Close to Losing Our Heads When We Saw Just How Awesome Moto Metal Wheels Look on a Truck

If you are an American and you own a truck, then what could be more patriotic than listening to a mixed tape of truck songs while driving your truck? Wow, there are so many mentions of trucks in that last sentence our heads are about to explode. The only other time we came so close to losing our heads was when we saw just how awesome Moto Metal wheels look on a truck. That nearly caused several head explosions. Moto Metal wheels are just so, you know, metal? Ok, bad way to describe Moto Metal wheels, especially since most truck owners probably prefer country music. But either way, here is a cool list of truck songs, most by country western artists.

Our list includes at least one love song, one break-up song and one sad song, thus covering all the elements of a typical country western song.

Artist Jerry Jeff Walker is not a household name, and his Pickup Truck Song was never a hit, but his story about hard work and family is sure to make you smile.

When Rhett Akins pulls up to his girlfriend’s house and spies another man’s truck outside, he feels compelled to write the tune That Ain’t My Truck. Well, that ain’t his girlfriend anymore either.

Somethin Bout a Truck is a recent hit by Kip Moore that finds a guy and his date in his truck alone in a field. The truck plays wingman as Kip tries to extend an afternoon date into the night.

I Drive a Truck by Lee Brice is definitely the saddest truck song you will ever hear. Better stock up on tissue before cuing up this one.

In our research, we discovered the song Farm on the Freeway by Jethro Tull that mentions a pickup truck. We only include this for any truck owners who appreciate music other than country.

Now, we gave you a great start, we’ll let you research the rest for your mixed tape on truck songs.
