You Can Justify Buying a Luxury Truck Because You Need a Nice Home for Your Fuel Wheels
20th Dec 2016
An increasing number of truck lovers are opting to buy luxury trucks. In most cases, the choice comes after years of driving stock vehicles and finally deciding to step forward and move up on the status symbol scale. It’s sort of like skipping out on dinner at Applebee's and going to the fine dining establishment that offers a jazz trio channeling Thelonious Monk while you eat your $75 lobster frittata.
Luxury trucks aren’t necessary for travel or even to tow your boat or haul away the junk in your garage, but they sure do make your commute more enjoyable. But there are far better reasons to buy that Ford F-110 Limited or GMC Sierra Denali and that is because luxury trucks are built with better materials and their endurance is far better than ordinary, cheaper trucks.
There is more to luxury trucks than social status and prestige, premium trucks offer the most advanced entertainment technology, the plushest interiors and the most advanced safety options. You can then justify buying a $50,000 truck by reasoning it keeps your family safer. You can also justify buying a luxury truck because you need a nice home for your new set of Fuel wheels.
In our last post, we gave you a list of luxury trucks currently on the market. This was to whet your appetite, and it probably worked if you are reading this right now. You are here because you need a reason to buy a luxury truck. We can help.
Emotional Connection
It’s not like you can’t make an emotional connection with any Ford or Chevy truck, you can and likely have in the past. But you will make a higher level connection with a luxury truck that offers heated leather seats and headrest-mounted DVD players. It’s sort of like how you feel seeing your wife in a tight, classy little black dress with shiny sequins and how you feel when seeing her in baggy sweatpants and oversized t-shirt. Sometimes, when you see her in the little black dress, you get a little too emotional, which is why you have three kids.
Safety Concerns
Luxury brands excel when it comes to safety features. While safety innovations like blind spot warning systems and electronic stability control are standard on luxury vehicles, they are an expensive option on stock trucks. According to Consumer Reports, 44 percent of the top safety picks have a price tag of at least $30,000.
Performance
Premium trucks makers also focus on high performance. The higher priced the truck, the more likely it will have more horsepower under the hood. In addition, top-of-the-line trucks boast better towing capabilities and more pounds in their payload.

Safety and performance aside, status is something to consider when considering a luxury truck. That is, what better way to show everybody just how successful you really are than with a luxury truck with an outrageous price tag?
