You Can Throw a Set of Fuel Wheels on Your Elantra, But Then You Would Just be Driving an Elantra with Cool Wheels

There is a good portion of the population who already own some sort of truck. It is these people who get why trucks are the vehicle to own. Now, we could sit here thinking about all the reasons everybody needs to own a truck, but the naysayers out there will do their best to put us down, it’s what people who drive Hyundai Elantras and Honda Civics do. We are fine with the fact you don’t feel the need to go out and buy a truck, especially a brand new truck that might set you back more than you care to spend. But even if you really do enjoy driving your Mini Cooper or Nissan Altima in public, there are still reasons you should at least consider buying a truck, even if it is a cheap, high mileage truck.
In fact, we encourage you to buy a cheap, used pickup truck, and here is why.
You might not be a truck person, but we hope you can at least respect trucks. But just for the sake of argument, borrow a friend’s truck for a few days and see if you change your mind.
Even if you own an SUV or a mini-van, which are good for almost every type of task, there will be a situation that involves the need for a truck. For example, when you move, you utilize your Tetris skills trying to fit boxes in your SUV or van. But no matter how well you plan, you will never outload a truck. Heck, packing a pickup truck is so easy, your kids could do it.
Buying an old, cheap pickup truck means you don’t have to worry about speeding tickets. You will find many older models with V6 engines that were purposed for better mileage, not dragging down the strip. That is, these trucks go from 0 to 60…..at some point in time.
But just because your truck is slow, doesn’t mean it is not fun. There is just something charming about cruising around in a truck on a Sunday afternoon. Try having fun cruising your Honda.
But best of all, all you need to spiff up your cheap pickup truck is a great set of truck wheels. That’s right, slap on a set of Fuel wheels or Moto Metal wheels and you will improve the look of your truck by 300 percent.
You can throw a set of Fuel wheels on your Elantra, but then you would just be driving an Elantra with cool wheels.
We almost forgot, you can earn back the money you spent of your cheap truck by utilizing your truck to make money. Really, it is not as complicated as we made that sound. Simply charge friends and family members to help them when they move, want to clear that rubbish from their yard or need to take their old furniture to the landfill and in no time, you will recoup the money you spent on your truck.
Now, how cool is that?
