Lund accessories have been around since 1974 and manufactured mostly sun visors for trucks, but by the late 1970 LUND decided to add more accessories for light trucks. After having great success in the '70s the cab spoiler was introduced to LUND's growing truck accessories. Lund also began a dealer program for auto parts stores, auto body and trim stores, and car washes, etc. This allowed truck drivers to dive deeper into customizing their pick up trucks along with Lund offering 20 more products, including bug shields, fender extensions, running boards, grille inserts, hood shields, side window deflectors, visors, tonneau covers, toolboxes, and truck bed protection.
