ube videos that were helpful. I also purchased the optional ends which are sturdy and built just as well as the "stubby" center. It has multiple light mounts (especially if you purchase the optional ends). Around Christmas, I hit a deer and he impacted the outside corner of the right bumper end. It was a big 8-pointer and that end was only bent a little. All in all, this is a very nice bumper for what it costs and I love that it's modular and can be a stubby as well as a full bumper. with some cheap wrapping and filling (unlike the other one I received from the other place). Smitty includes all the installation hardware, and then some nice extras which you can use if you upgrade your fog lights. But the factory fog lights fit perfectly and were easy to install.
I had one minor issue with the install. There are removable mounting brackets that mount through the bumper onto the frame of the Jeep. To hold these brackets into place during mounting, Smitty gives you thin plastic square washers that go over the bolts of the mounting bracket. These washers break very easily, so I used plastic zip ties instead and they worked great. Other than that, you’ll spend more time getting the factory bumper off than you will putting this one on.
After we got it on, we easily mounted a Badlands Apex 12,000 winch onto this bumper. It was a perfect fit. Read Less
